The Spirit Ranch Challenge Course
The Spirit Ranch Challenge is an effective tool in helping leaders and teams become more effective, focused, engaged, and connected to each other. The experience consists of both low and high ropes course elements, as well as non-ropes experiences where teams and individuals work together to excel and help each other achieve a common goal. 
The Spirit Ranch Challenge is a unique way to experience the intricacies of communication, cooperation, and trust. The program isn’t complicated but it is challenging. As members of your group work through the day, they discover their individual and group strengths as well as learning to overcome their hesitation and fears. What happens during a day of Challenge? The experience is different for each group. Our staff custom designs a series of activities to help get your group engaged. Experiences may involve hula hoops, tennis and beach balls, and the occasional blindfold, all being used in ways you never imagined. Our ropes courses, constructed with beams, cables, ropes, and platforms on poles, give participants the opportunity to face challenges with controlled risk. On both the high and low ropes courses, participants discover more about themselves, and can choose whether or not to challenge their physical and psychological limits in an environment of safety and support. The experiences are sequenced to create and build trust among participants, and to encourage involvement of the entire group, regardless of age, ability, or physical condition.

 Spirit Ranch is located in the scenic Escondido Canyon and is a truly unique setting for a wedding. The locations in the Canyon you can chose from include the Pavilion, Adobe Center, Canyon House or Meadow. If you’d like, we will gladly make available one of our Spirit Ranch ministers to perform your ceremony and we can even arrange for the music or entertainment at your reception.

We have qualified ministers on our Spirit Ranch team and access to additional respected ministers and professional counselors in our city. As your day progresses, you will find yourselves working together to solve problems ranging from simple to sublime, always involving our favorite resources: the heart and the brain. The group discovers and enhances its own abilities, with guidance from our facilitators when appropriate, and to a large extent the group itself determines the day’s focus. 
There are clear benefits to be realized from these challenges. Participants focus on improving interpersonal skills and group dynamics, discovering new methods of problem solving, and applying what they learn to everyday “real life” challenges. 
Most of us have dreamed of being a cowboy or cowgirl. At Spirit Ranch those dreams can come true, even if it’s only for a little while. . A “real” cowboy on our staff will teach you how to handle, harness, saddle and ride. You will learn incredible lessons from these magnificent animals that you will not soon forget.
